Anna & Daniel’s NYC Courthouse Elopement with their dog, classic NYC pizza, Magnolia bakery, and adventures around Chinatown.
Anna and Daniel had a very classic NYC courthouse elopement. In fact, it was the PERFECT day. They wanted a solid mix of both digital and film images, which is what you’ll find below. We kicked off the celebrations by taking portraits with their dog, Maple, then heading into City Hall for their ceremony. Everything went very smoothly (and quickly!) and then we were off to explore the city and take photos. We enjoyed riding and taking photos on the subway, and ended up in the West Village to get some classic nyc slices at Bleecker St Pizza. Delicious! It was a joyful and sunny day, with people smiling and complimenting the happy couple. After a brief pizza break, we walked over to Magnolia bakery on Bleecker where they shared the cutest cupcake. After a packed morning of celebration, we separated here for the afternoon.
In the evening, we reunited in Chinatown to enjoy dinner at a cafe and take more photos. It was cold and raining, but they were up for anything and everything. Everyone at the cafe was accomodating, but it does help that we went at the end of the day to avoid navigating crowds. We enjoyed so many fun and noodle-filled foods! I loved capturing the day through all sorts of different lighting, food, and film stocks. Daniel & Anna are such warm, kindhearted, and creative souls. I could not be more grateful that I got to be the one to document their NYC Courthouse Elopement!
