Reegin & Martin | Flatiron Rooftop Wedding

Jun 22, 2023

Reegin & Martin perfected the 70’s vibes for their Flatiron rooftop wedding.

Spring in New York City has my heart completely. The first time I visited the city was in the month of April, and the magic of springtime here has no competition. That’s why I have a certain fondness for springtime weddings, and nothing could have prepared me for the iconic experience of photographing Reegin & Martin’s stunning Flatiron rooftop wedding. These two met via Instagram, with Martin being from France and Reegin growing up in California — their love has defied the odds. When we had our first call at the beginning of the year, time flew by as we connected over our shared love for printed photos, food, fashion, and so much more. I adore these humans.

The festivities began with a stunning rooftop ceremony while the sounds of the city surrounded us. Friends and family gathered from California and France, all decked out in their sequins, feathers, and 70’s-inspired attire. It was such a beautiful site to behold. Following the ceremony, the three of us frolicked around the Flatiron district for their portraits. They share a love for cheese (Reegin especially loves parmesan), so naturally, we had to end our adventures by walking through Eataly. These are some of my favorite images of the year, with the detail photo of their rings + tulips being one of my all-time-favorite images. I loved seeing them have fun together, and photographing them was a delight.

The evening was a perfect blur of fun — from their intimate first dance, Reegin’s stunning sparkly dress change, pizza with hot honey, delicious drinks, cake cutting, croquembouche devouring, endless Polaroids, and more — I will not soon forget their remarkable Flatiron rooftop wedding.
